Scope of Cover

This insurance covers the loss of or damage to the insured machinery from any reason while it is on the contract site i.e.

• From completion of the unloading process
• During construction 
• Erection
• To completion of testing or taking over the purchaser, whichever is later.

Perils Covered

• Natural - Fire, lightning, water damage, flood, storm & tempest, subsidence, landslide, cyclone, hurricane, earthquake and volcanic eruption 
• Social - Burglary and Theft
• Chemical - Explosion, spontaneous combustion, heating and fermentation 
• Miscellaneous - Compact and Aircraft Damage 
• Others - Accidental damage during assembly e.g. dropping or falling or breakage of slings, collapse and collision, electrical and mechanical breakdown.
