MACHINE AND EQUIPMENT

Introduction

This policy is designed to cover heavy equipment and machinery which are not mobile and static e.g. printing machinery, lathe machine and plastic molding machine.

Scope of cover

The coverage provided by this policy is very wide and is identical to the Commercial "ALL Risks" policy. It provides indemnity against lost, damage or destruction to the property insured by any cause not expressly excluded by the policy.

Principal  Exclusions

• War invasion act by a foreign enemy
• Earthquake strike riot and civil commotion.
• Mechanical breakdown
• Wear and Tear
• Own ignition electrical breakdown or burnt out
• Consequential loss of any kind
• Cheating or Criminal Breach of Trust as defined in the Penal Code
• The contents of a machine
• Defective material or workmanship
• Loss by delay confiscation or detention by Public Authorities
• The Excess stated in the policy.
